Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization with a mission of saving dogs in high-kill shelters in Texas and placing them in loving homes. All of their pups are fostered while waiting for their forever families. Austin Pets Alive! has saved over 100,000 pets since officially opening in 2008. Their goal is to give every shelter animal in Central Texas a chance at the life they deserve and APA achieves that by providing resources, education and a place to live while awaiting a new home. Available animals are housed at their location in Austin, or fostered by generous volunteers who provide a temporary home with the love and care a pet needs.
